What a pleasant surprise when I came across your blog and saw my old one room school house. I recognized it right away!
We lived on Miami Trace Road. Our name was Knisley and my dad Ernest Knisley farmed on the Perrill Farm. I attended the old school from first grade to the fourth. My teacher was Miss Frayne. I think I started there in 1937. Also, my cousin Earl Knisley was the "janitor" there and would also get the fire going in the old stove in the winter time so it would be warm by the time the kids arrived. Wonder memories! Thank you.

p.s. I think the school was called Mallow?
